IRME MAMSIRATI

Mamsirati Irme O. Temurlenk
Irme Mamsirati is an artist, author, designer, and cultural researcher. Her work explores the intersections of art, design, strategy, and cultural narratives.

Focusing on abstract and avant-garde approaches in her artistic practice, Mamsirati held her first solo exhibition at the Brick Lane Gallery in London in 2017. Her works have been exhibited in several countries, including Türkiye, the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, Greece, and Russia, and are held in private collections across 11 countries.

In the field of design, she works across brand strategy, visual identity, art direction, and digital experiences. Through The Plane, the company she founded, she approaches brand identity, value propositions, and communication strategies from a strategic perspective.

Her cultural research focuses primarily on Ossetian-Alan history, identity, and cultural heritage. As part of her efforts to document and preserve the cultural memory of the Ossetian diaspora in Türkiye and pass it on to future generations, she published Ossetian-Alan Cuisine: Cultural Memory and Traditional Recipes.
Coming from an Ossetian family, Mamsirati draws on her personal and cultural experiences between Türkiye and North Ossetia in her research. Cultural memory, identity, belonging, and narratives occupy a central place in her work. She approaches art, design, and research not as separate disciplines, but as different ways of understanding and interpreting the world.
